Collection: Esther Miro

Kingscliff, NSW

Esther Miro is a multidisciplinary artist, surface designer and colourist whose practice explores the connections between people, place and belonging. Inspired by family, home and the natural environment, her abstract paintings examine our relationship with the landscapes and spaces we inhabit. Human figures sometimes merge with domestic or natural surroundings, while other works respond to water, movement and the shifting forms of the landscape. Through expressive brushwork, layered textures, positive and negative space, and intuitive colour, Miro explores how identities, memories and emotions become embedded within the places we call home.
