Collection: Jesse Harrison

Tweed Coast, NSW, Australia

An art educator for over a decade, Australian artist Jesse Harrison discovered her passion for art and ceramics at a young age. Her current body of work explores the reimagining of folk tales from her lost Hungarian heritage. A particular fascination for the birds in these stories appear as a recurring motif. Her work reinterprets characters and symbols from Hungarian myths and stories, appropriating them to create unique plates and sculptures in a contemporary style.
