Bridie became interested in art at school, experimenting with acrylic and watercolour paints. She eventually developed her abstract style and became inspired by her local area including; the beaches along the tweed coast, forest walks and parks. The colour palettes and textures from these places are combined with feeling and connection, which she then effortlessly portrays onto the canvas.
